MORE ABOUT ME
My favorite thing to do when not writing is open water swimming, especially in cold water. Like in the winter. When I make art, I look at the world differently, slightly askew, in order to eventually see the world with greater clarity and then share that clarity with others. The mental and physical exercise of cold open water swimming invites this perspective shift. This necessity to shift our perspectives to change the world, in order to make peace, in order to be human together, is also why I make theater.

WHAT I'M WORKING ON
My newest work, "Numbered Be Our Days" (dir: Dónal Gallagher), is a verbatim play about the Irish-Jewish community in Cork, Ireland. The play was presented as a work-in-progress at the 2025 Cork Midsummer Festival, supported by the Irish Arts Council, The Abbey Theatre Literary and New Work department, Fishamble’s New Play Clinic, and the Cork Theatre Collective. Additional developing work includes: a commission from the Lucille Lortel’s Alcove Project about the decade from 1979-1989 when we almost stopped climate change, an interview-based project about Bigfoot which is really about the urban-rural divide, and a play with music called "Earthnauts into the Future" about the last two members of an intentional community.
