MORE ABOUT ME
Seeing Noises Off as a kid changed my life. It was then I knew the magic of theatre. I wanted to make people laugh and utterly surprise everyone like that play did. I didn't know one could be silly in a such a brilliant way. What a miracle. I also noticed half the audience did not think it was funny at all, which intrigued me. I feel most like myself when I am with my family or when I am writing. I overcome disappointment by writing. I always think I will overcome disappointment by drawing, but then I realize I can't draw, so then I'm disappointed again and have to write. When not writing I like to cook things I've never cooked before because something always goes wrong and then I have to wing it. I like winging it. It's not natural for me, I'm a planner, so I like it when it happens.

WHAT I'M WORKING ON
Getting a couple TV pilots ready to pitch; prepping LEGERDEMAIN for production at The Tank; developing feisty-fun feminist musical RATTLE THE CAGE created with Pia Wilson and Rona Siddiqui, commissioned by Theatreworks Silicon Valley; launching an adaptation of an Edith Wharton ghost story; developing my new women-centric, small-cast play THE USHERS at the New Group. Also planning S3 of my indie comic web series GASBAG. We're currently securing platforms for GASBAG S2, which received rave reviews. We hope to have it available to view soon. Info on my website.
