Kate Neuman

I’m a New York- based writer and actor. My first play (yay!), A Second Language, has been presented at The Barrow Group Theater Company in NYC as well as at The Valley Players in Napa and The Lakewood Playhouse in Washington State. My essays have appeared in The New York Times, The Iowa Review, The Independent (UK), Mr. Beller's Neighborhood, and elsewhere. I'm a founding member FAB Women at The Barrow Group, the company's play development arm that is dedicated to nurturing work by women. I teach creative writing at Hunter College and privately and acting at The Barrow Group.
